EMPIRE AIR CONFERENCE

NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATIVES (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.) LONDON, October 6. It is understood that New Zealand will be represented at the Empire Air Conference next week by the' High Commissioner, Mr W. J. Jordan, Mr R. M. Campbell, official secretary at NewZealand House, and Air-commodore A. de T. Nevill. The conference follows a series of consultations between Britain and the Governments of the dominions and India. It is now hoped to reach ail agreement on a common air policv for the Empire, after which there will he wider discussions with the United States.

' The Times ' says that Lord Beaverbrook will primarily be responsible for the co-ordination of the United Kingdom policy, and will take a prominent part in the conference.
