ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
CHILD KICKED BY HORSE. A. Nelson Association message states : Raema Floris Satherley, aged three years and four months, died yesterday as tho result of being kicked by a horse. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gordon Satherley. of Umukuri. near Motuoka. At' about 11.30 a.m. Mrs Satherley found her daughter lying in a paddock near the house. The girl indicated a mark on her face, and. said a horso which was grazing nearby had kicked her. She was taken to a doctor in Motueka. but died whilo receiving attention in his surgery.
