SHARE MARKET. There were two sales of New Zealand Drug Co. (40s paid) at 90s on 'Change this morning, with a buyer still offering 89s 6d. There were few changes in the values quoted at the call, the usual predominance of buyers being the main feature. There were quotations for 3 per cent. The annual report of the Milburn Lime and Cement Company states that the profit and. loss account, after writing off depreciation, and making provision for income tax for the current year, shows a credit balance of £7,183 6s 2d, including the sum of £562 14s 8d carried forward from last year. After paying an interim dividend of 2\ per cent, on March 26, amounting to £5,000, and transferring £3,000 from reserve account, a balance of £5,183 6s 2d remains to be dealt with. The directors recommend that this balance should be appropriated as follows: Payment of dividend of 2§ per cent, for the six months ended July 31, making 5 per cent, for the year, £5,000; balance to be carried forward to next year, £lB3 6s 2d.
