GREEK SUBMARINE LOST
RUGBY, October 5. The commander-in-chief of the Greek navy announces that the submarine Katsonis has been sunk. The Katsonis played a great part in the fight for her country's freedom. Operating chiefly in the iEgean and Adriatic Seas, she scored many notable successes and sunk and damaged many thousands of tons of enemy shipping. Her exploits included entering an enemy-occupied harbour to torpedo transports.
