OVER 30,000 PERSONS NO SINGLE BUILDING ESCAPED (Rec. 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, August 2. The Zurich correspondent of the Stockholm newspaper ' Tidningen ' quoted a Hamburg police official as saying that the raid casualties were over 30,000—namely, 8,347 killed, 3,514 missing, 18,681 wounded. Some 259 industrial plants and UjMod residences were demolished and over 5,000 residences were severely damaged. Not a single building escaped some damage.
