TWO SUNK, TWO DAMAGED (Rec. noon.) RUGBY, July 12. A successful attack on four Japanesa merchant ships is announced by a United States navy communique, which states: In the North Pacific on Saturday American bombers attacked four Japanese cargo vessels 280 mi'.es southwest of Attn. One vessel was sunk, one left sinking, and the others damaged. . On Sunday morning United States light surface"units bombarded positions on Kiska and Little Kiska.
