ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
CHILD DIES FROM INTERNAL SCALDS. A two-year-old child died in the Patea Hospital yesterday as the result of scalds lie was Ernest George /Mills, son of Mr and Mrs George Mills, of Patea The child put his mouth near the spout of a kettle of boiling water on the stove and inhaled a quantity oi steam and swallowed some of the water.
