Next', Saturday's draw is: Orescent I. v. Clutha,. at Balclutha; Toko. I. v, Clinton, at Clinton; Clutha and Tbfco. juniors, at Milton; High School v. Crescent, at Kaitangata. As, a curtainraiser to the senior match at Balclutha the primary school will play a match between two' fifteens,. v Bowling.—The annual, meeting of the Balclutha Bowling, Club was held on Saturday night- Mr J. Gold presiding oyer an .excellent attendance. The balance sheet ,showed that the credit balance had increased from £4 Is 9d to sls ls4d. Reference was made tq the deaths of Mrs John Gold and ' Mr Walter and, members stood in silence as a m|ik of respect. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr Les. A recommendation was made that the Scfuth Otago Bowling Centre conduct the champion of champion singles competition with not.less than four 1 clubs) instead of, as at present,, live clubs. It, was also'decided to ask the centre to make an endeavour to arrange transport coming season in order that iiiterclub match might be played. _, Regarding the Buchanan Cup matches, it was decided that rinks comprise recognised leads, seconds, thirds, ahd skips, in order that more players might be encouraged to take part. The usual competitions are to be played. After the meeting a social lioif was spent, during which the trophies won last season were presented.
