Burt (pref.. unlisted), 22s 6d. MEAT PRODUCTION. The official figures of killings for (Tie present season at the Dominion's freezing works from October 1 to June 19 show' 'that lamb killings now total 10,896,044 carcasses, compared with 10,978,436 carcasses to June 20 last season, a decrease of 82,392 carcasses. Wether mutton killings are 603,935 carcasses, and ewe mutton killings 1,705,566 carcasses, compared witli 762,779 and 1,954,325 carcasses respectively last season. Frozen beef production has readied 537,558 quarters, compared with 562,171 quarters last season.
