HOME FROM THE WAR

THREE LOCAL MEN Three local men of a party of sick and wounded personnel who recently returned to the Dominion from overseas arrived in Dunedin by the through express this morning. They were:— Private L. B. Beckinsale, 24 Shand street. Green Island. Driver M. D. Costello. Mosgiel. Gunner J. E. A. Kydd, Burkes street, St. Leonards, The men, who were all walking cases, were met at the station by the Mayor (Mr A. H. Allen). Mr S. G. Snoular (president of the R.S.A.). Mr A. R. White (representative of the Second N.Z.E.F. Association), and Lieutenant Moynihan (of the Sick and Wounded Department).

They were conveyed to their homes by the transport section of the Red Cross.
