MAX SCHMELING
IN HOSPITAL RECOVERING FROM WOUNDS (Eec. 11.35 a.m.) LONDON. April 15. The Berlin radio quoted'Anny Ondra, the actress wife of Max Schmeling, as saying that her husband, who was wounded while fighting as a paratrooper in Crete, was still in hospital recovering from his injuries. He was repeatedly reported to have been killed.
