IMPORTANCE REALISED BY JAPAN WASHINGTON, March (i. * A broadcast from the Tokio radio indicated officially that Japan believes she must win the war in 1943 or face defeat. It quoted the Prime Minister, Admiral Tojo, as saying that 1943; is the year • in which the issue of the world, war must be decided. Tho Japanese were mobilising the rich, natural resources of Greater East Asia, v and concentrating Japan's power for the defeat of Britain and the United Stateg.
