Liberators made a highly successful attack on Mandalay railway station, yards, and rolling-stock last night, says an India communique. All ;the bombs fell in the target area. Buildings were demolished, trucks hit, and fires started. Yesterday Blenheims, escorted by fighters, bombed targetß on the Hayu Peninsula. About 15 enemy aircraft flew over Rathendaung. They were engaged by our fighters and forced to jettison their . bombs harmlessly. From these operations all our planes returned. It is now known that seven enemy aircraft were destroyed.
