EQUAL EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS
JEWISH WOMEN IN NORTH AFRICA ALGIERS, March 5. General Giraud has ordered that equal employment rights be accorded to Jewish and Gentile women. He has thus removed the outstanding criticism of the Giraud Administration. . General Giraud stated: " It has been reported that Jewish women are excluded from the nursing, postal, and automobile services. This situation is inadmissable at a time when the army needs help from all. France has no racial prejudices."
