o(N.Z.P.A. Special Corespondent.) (Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, October 18. Leading Aircraftman J. Macdonald, of Marlborough, a former ail Black who subsequently played in England for Huddersfield, scored 8 points—(wo tries and one conversion) when the R.N.Z.A.F. beat Guy’s Hospital by 11 points to 0. Macdonald had not played since 1939, when he had a cartilage removed from his right knee. He turned up to see the match as a spectator, but was invited to play as a rcsnll of one member of the team missing a train. Tho New Zealand team included Sergeant J. Mcc. of Dunedin.
