WORKED TOO HARD
PUNISHED BY U.S. UNION NEW YORK, October 17. A message from Miami (Florida) states that union by-laws which might endanger national security and impair the war effort can, and will, he set aside. This statement was made by Judge Holt when ho [permanently restrainejl the Painters’ Union from punishing members for hurrying defence jobs. The dispute binged on the use of spray machines instead of brushes.
