—<» — SHARE MARKET. Interest in New Zealand Government stocks was not so keen at this morning’s call-over at the Stock Exchange. In the banking section New South Wales were inquired for at £2B. New Zealand Long D were sought at 29s 9d. Insurance values were unchanged. In meat preserving there was a buyer’s offer for New Zealand Refrigerating (paid) at 21s 4d, and a wider market in the contributing issue, the buyer offering 9s 3d with the seller 5d away. In gas, coal, and oil the quotation for Westport was 24s 9d-25s 3d, with other values unchanged. In the miscellaneous section A .0.1. were quoted at 48s (buyer), 47s 3d (seller), and National Electric at 235-24 s 6d. G. J. Coles were wanted at 48s and New Zealand Paper Mills at 32s 6d. In breweries the buyer of New Zealand advanced to 31s 6d. No sales were reported in any section. , MINING. Molyneux Gold Dredging Company Ltd.— For the period ended August 17 the company’s dredge operated 600 hours and recovered 2530 z of gold. PROPERTY SALE. Messrs L. J. Ireland Ltd. report having offered by auction, in the. estate of the late Mr W. L. Hooper, freehold properties situated at No. 11 Granville Terrace (a brick bungalow) and No. 17 Melrose street (a villa).
