FOOTWEAR RATIONING
COUPON VALUES AMENDED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 4. The Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas, announced to-day that the coupon values of footwear had been adjusted, and the following would apply as from August 3:~ Infants.—lnfantees (soft soles), coupon free; boots, shoes, sandals, and sand shoes, up to and including size 1, one coupon. Women and Girls. — Bools, shoes, sandals, and sand shoes, above size 1, two coupons. Men and Boys.—Boots and shoes, size 2 up to 5, two coupons; boots and shoes, size 6 and over three coupons; sandals and sand shoes, two coupons. The issue of the special sheet of 15 clothin<» coupons to all members of the armed forces in New Zealand has been completed
