GERMAN CLAIMS
(Reo. noon.) LONDON, Aug. 4. A German .communique maims that east of the, Sea of Azov a German division has broken the of the Russian rearguard’s mobile arms, and Storm Troop units, in a daring advance, have reached the Kuban River at several points. The Germans captured the industrial town of Voroshilovsk (Stavropol) after stiff street fighting. The Germans and Rumanians between the Sal and the Don are advancing- further eastward with undiminisned vigour. The Vichy rdio savs a German motorised unit intercepted lorries evacuating equipment from the Krasnodar electric power station eastward.
