Daily Intercession

O God of all the earth, we thank Thee for this land which Thou hast given to us to be our home and the home of our children. W e thank Thee for the great traditions of our British race and for the unsearchable blessings of our Christian heritage. Our fathers trusted in Thee, and Thou wert their Guide and Saviour. Enable us, their children, also to place our confidence in Thee, and to commit our souls to Thee in welldoing as unto a faithful Creator. O God, we do cry to Thee to sane our land from invasion, and save our Homeland, Britain, from the trampling of the foot. Keep us true to the faith of our fathers, and give us grace to be faithful to our trust; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
