KATAN BEATS BLOMFIELD SURPRISE ENDING (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 30.. “ Lofty ” Blomfield, of Auckland, lost his professional wrestling match with John Katau, of Canada, at the Town Hall on Saturday night in an unexpected manner in the final round. Katan had obtained a submission fall in the fourth round with a reverse figure-four leg scissors, and Blomfield had also won a submission fall in the seventh with an octopus clamp. In (ho final round Katan had his opponent fastened in a full nelson when Blomfleld struggled io his corner and hurled hinisc.U' backwards on (op of his attacker. A fall to Blomlicld looked imminent, when the referee awarded one to Kalan, as Blomfield, in order to obtain greater leverage, had allowed his shoulders to slay on the mat for more than the regulation three seconds.
