BIRTLES.—On November 30, 1941, at Dunedin, Arthur, beloved husband of the late Mary Birtles, and father of Mrs William Little, 26 Kenmure road, Roslyn; in his eighty-lifth year. BLACKIE.—On December 1, 1941, at Dunedin, William Gray, much-loved husband of Mabel Blackie, of 202 Balmacewon road (late of Ravensbourne and Katea), dearly loved father of Mrs McGill, Mrs Vial, James and Arthur Blackie (Dunedin), Mrs Bonham (Hamilton), and Mrs Thompson (Owaka); aged 63 years. “Till the dawn breaks.”—The Funeral will leave the residence of his daughter (Mrs McGill), 123 Glen road, To-morrow (Tuesday), the 2nd inst., at 1.30 p,m„ for the Anderson’s Bay Crematorium.—R. McLean and Son, funeral directors. CHURCHILL.—On November 21. 1941, in Egypt, Leslie Stewart (Tui), dearly loved only son of Jean and the late Leslie J. Churchill, 2 Bruce street, Roslyn, Dunedin; aged 35 years. DAVIDSON.—On November 29, 1941, at her parents’ residence. 40 Calder street, St. Kilda, Gladys May (Bud), dearly loved only daughter of William and Gladys Davidson, and granddaughter of Mrs Hamilton; aged 10 years. Deeply mourned. “ Safe in tho arms of Jesus.” Interred this day at Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Cole and Son, funeral directors. HALDANE.—On November 29, 1941, at the residence of her daughter, 29 County road, Kaikorai, Isabella Henderson Haldane. Private interment. —Hope and Kinaston. funeral directors. STEWART. —On November 29. at Invercargill, John Alexander, beloved husband of the late Henrietta Stewart, late of Ocean Beach, Southland: also loved father of Noel Stewart, Ocean Beach, and Mrs Watson, Invercargill. TAYLOR.—On November 29, at Masterton, Mary, dearly beloved wife of William Taylor, of Waingawa, formerly of Portobeilo.
