WEATHER FORECAST
COLD AND SHOWERY SPEEDY IMPROVEMENT The following weather forecast was issued at noon by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, covering the southern districts:— South-westerly winds, fresh inland and strong and squally on the coast, but moderating to-morrow. Weather cold, changeable, and showery, with some snow on the ranges; but conditions improving rapidly inland. Some frosts likely. Further outlook: Winds decreasing and weather becoming fine.
