WEALTHY VICTORIAN Freu Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, September 15. One of the largest charitable bequests in the history of Victoria is made under the will of Mr Truby Williams, who died in Melbourne last month, leaving £400,000 to various charities and educational institutions. This represents the entire estate with the exception of a few small personal bequests. His wife, who predeceased him, was a daughter of Mr T. J. Parker, of Huddart, Parker. There are no children. The will directs that half_ the estate be held in trust and set aside for the university, various technical colleges, and hospitals, as endowments. The other half will be a perpetual charitable trust providing an annual income for charitable purposes.
