MAORI HILL SCHOOL COMMITTEE
The monthly meeting of the Maori Hill School Committee was held on Monday when the chairman, Mr J. M. Patrick, presided over a good attendance. The head master’s report showed a roll of 299 with an attendance considerably affected by an epidemic of mumps. On Arbor Day the children were addressed by Air Roy Fraser and the senior pupils planted trees at Prospect Park. During the month the school had been visited by the inspectors and also members of the department’s physical instruction staff. Matters of a routine nature were given. attention, and arrangements were completed for a bring ami buy sale and concert to be held in October* _
