LATE COMMERCIAL
RABBITSKINS SALE POSTPONED The Dunedin Stock Agents and Wool Brokers’ Association reports that at a meeting of the brokers and exporters it ■was decided to postpone the rabbitskin sale set down for yesterday. The reasons for the postponement are solely due to the temporary lack of shipping facilities, and to the fact that exporters are reluctant to add further to the lai-ge quantities which they have awaiting shipment. It is not anticipated that the delay will be very extensive, and there are possibilities of some relief early next month. In the meantime brokers advise trappers to continue forwarding their consignments, as the present hold-up is not due in any way to lack of demand, and, provided no further unforeseen difficulties occur, prices are likely to continue round about recent rates.
