—Ministerial, The Postmaster-General (the Hon. P. C. Webb) arrived last night and stayed at the Grand Hotel. He attended a social gathering, of the Post and Telegraph Association during the evening, and this morning returned by air to Wellington. Mr J. H. Edmond was elected president of the Otago Importers and Shippers’ Association at the annual meeting of the association last night. He succeeds Mr S. F. Aburn, who was thanked for his valuable service in this office during the past two years. The two Otago members of the party of New Zealand soldiers who have been invalided home from Fiji arrived in Dunedin yesterday. They were Privates E. G. Page, of Dunedin, and E. B. Sutherland, of Port Chalmers. Private Sutherland was conveyed to the Public Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. and Private Page went to his home.
