CASINO OPENS TO-NIGHT

EFFORT IN KING'S THEATRE The combined effort of the shipping, motor trade, oil companies, transport, banks, and insurance companies in connection with “ Comforts for Fighters’ ” appeal is taking the form of a Casino which is to open in the old King’s Theatre in Dowling street to-night, and will be continued to-morrow and Saturday nights. The games and amusement devices which were recently featured in the highly-succcssfu! carnival in the Garrison Hall, Itave been installed, and many valuable prizes are being offered. The hall should be a place of brightness and gaiety in these nights of black-out restrictions, and the public will at the same time have the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporing a worthy cause. There will be an ice cream and refreshment stall in the hall.
