JUMBLE SALE AT SOUTH DUNEDIN The following gives an indication of what will be offered at the South Dunedin Businessmen’s Association jumble sale, to he held in the South Dunedin Town Hall tomorrow, at 2 p.m., in aid of the Comforts for Fighters Fund:—New and secondhand clothing, 14 ladies’ coats, a fur coat, crockery, meat, tinned fruit, sewing machine, washing machine, babies’ clothes, children’s clothes, men’s and women’s hats, dresses and costumes, men’s pullovers, books, and many other miscellaneous lines. OTHER ACTIVITIES. In regard to the retail section’s activities in the cause, it is now announced that the staff of the D.S.A. will be holding a card party in their showroom on June 14. On June 18 the staff of this same house will be in charge of the dugout. , The dugout in the Octagon. will .’ be staffed and stocked to-morrow by the Temperance and General Mutual Life Society. On Saturday morning members of the Otago Branch of the New. Zealand Educational Institute will be in charge.
