CAPPING CONCERT

The Otago University capping concert commences a four-night season at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night. The programme consists of topical songs, interludes, ballets, farces, all of winch contain student humour and burlesque at its best, while Mandini, tha student magician, presents an act unique in the programme of any capping concert, which illustrates that the quickness of tha student hand can sometimes deceive tha public eye. The songs of the quartet are both appealing and revealing. The procession, in Aid of the “ Comforts for Fighters Fund,” is timed to reach the Octagon at noon on Wednesday.
