MAGISTRATE’S COURT

TUESDAY, APRIL 22. (Befrore Mr H. J. Dixon, S.M.) DEFAULT CASES. Judgment by default with costs was given for the plaintiff in the following cases:—Commissioner of Taxes v. Keith G. Mitchell, £8 7s 4d, taxes due; T. W. Dobbie v. E. M'Fadgen (Oamaru), £1 16s 9d, money paid on his behalf; A. Buxton v. R. Wallace (Auckland), £ll 10s 6d, money loaned; M. Kinney v. G. Beaufort, £8 7s 6d, goods supplied; A. and T. Burt Ltd. v. R. G. Laplanche (Timaru), 18s, goods supplied. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. T. W. Dobbie proceeded against Richard Mulford (Burnside), on a judgment summons to recover £6 2s Od. Defandant was ordered to pay the amount forthwith, default being fixed at six days’ imprisonment.
