Wellington, covering the southern district;— : Moderate to fresh south-westerly to westerly winds, later tending northwesterly, Weather mainly fair, hub some scattered rain developing later in the west. Temperatures milder. Seas rough at times in Foveaux Strait, otherwise moderate. AT OTHER CENTRES. Auckland— Overcast; slight south-westerly. 60 Wellington— Blue sky, passing clouds, and haze; light air from north. 56 Christchurch— Overcast and hazy; slight east-north-easterly, 43 Timaru— ■ Overcast and hazy; slight northerly. 48 Oamaru — Cloudy; light air from west. 46Grey mouth— Overcast; slight easterly. ol Nuggets— Overcast; threatening; fresh southerly. 51 Bluff — „ , Overcast; lightning; fresh west-south-westerly. 54
