SCUTTLED.—‘When the 5,000-ton German Hamburg - Amerika freighter Idarwald was intercepted by a patrolling British warship off Cuba the German crew at once scuttled their ship, set her on fire, and took to their boats. The British ship, fought the fires and took the Idarwald in tow, but she shortly afterwards had to be cast off and sank. Here is seen the blazing bridge on the freighter.
