MR NOROMEYEA SATISFIED WITH PROGRESS VOLUNTARY CO-OPERATION OF DOCTORS SOUGHT [Pan United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 17. The Hon. A. H. Nordmeyer (Minister of Health) told the Labour Party Conference to-day that the number of doctors who . had signed agreements for free medical benefits was progressing very satisfactorily. He said a large increase in the number of people receiving medical benefits was expected at an early date. The conference decided to recommend that every effort be made to induce doctors to co-operate' on a voluntary basis , before : any compulsion was resorted to. , It also recommended extension of free dental treatment to adults as soon as it was practicable.
