Daily Intercession

When Thou saidst, seek ye my face; my heart said unto Thee, Thy face. Lord, will I seek. Hide not Thy face far from me; put not Thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. —(Psalm 27: 8-9.) Almighty God, Thy ways are sure though our minds cannot grasp the meaning of all that comes to pass. Grant us the illumination, of Thy spirit by which alone we may be able to understand Thy purposes, and incline our hearts to love Thee that we may be able to serve Thy will with gladness as sons and not as strangers. We beseech Thee to be with, all who are called by duty to stand in danger. May their whole beings, spirit, and soul and body, be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Amen,
