DEATH IN HOSPITAL

SOLDIER INVALIDED FROM ENGLAND VETERAN OF GREAT WAR [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 16. One of the 93 New Zealand soldiers invalided from England, who arrived at Auckland on Saturday, Lancercorporal Reynold John Alolph (56), died in the' Auckland Hospital yesterday. He was born at Mangatawhiri, near Auckland, and served four years abroad in the last war, in Gallipoli, Egypt, and France, where he held the rank of sergeant-major in the Field Artill ry.He enlisted immediately on the outbreak of- the present war, and after several attempts was accepted, lea ini; from Lyttelton. He is survived by hia wife. A military funeral will be held tomorrow.
