NORWEGIAN WATERS
ANOTHER ALLIED RAID NORTHERN PORT ATTACKED LONDON, April 14. Another Allied raid has taken -place in Norwegian waters. News agencies report that Norwegian warships under Norwegian command, acting in consultation with the British naval authorities, attacked a northern Norwegian port. No official announcement has yet been made. A message from Stockholm states:— British troops landing from a torpedo boat at an undisclosed port in North Norway on Saturday, destroyed a fishmeal factory. Norwegian volunteers participated in the raid. The party also machine-gunned the house of a prominent member of the Quisling Party.

INDIA'S PRECAUTIONS GOVERNMENT TAKES WIDE POWERS NEW DELHI, April 14. (Received April 15, at noon.) India is taking measures to meet all forms of air attack, including fire “ blitr.es,” and an A.R.P handbook has just been issued. The Government has assumed wide powers.
