RAKANUI WINS GUP NIGHT ERUPTION SCORES The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s autumn meeting opened under perfect conditions before a large attendance. The totalisator handled £14,886, as against £11,299 for the corresponding day last year, when only seven races were held. Results:—

(Received March 28, at 8 a.m.) The feature of Saturday’s races at Rosohill will be the High Caste-Beau Vito clash in the Rawson Stakes. Beau Vite faces the task without having had a race since midsummer, but in the meantime has been well galloped. High Caste raced in Melbourne from six furlongs tc a mile and threequarters. The acceptors in the Rawson Stakes are: Mosaic 9.2, High Caste, Beau Vite, Reading, Dashing Cavalier 9.0, Feminist 8.13, Gold Salute 8.11. Proud Fox, with 8.13, heads the 14 acceptors in three and four-year-old handicap, in which Nightbeam has 8.6. Nightbeam; also- with 8.6, is among the 11 acceptors in the Parramatta mile.
