NEW APPOINTMENT TO DOMINION MR PINKERTON FOR JERUSALEM [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 14. The New Zealand Consul-General for the United States will not be Mr Wesley Frost, as previously announced, but Mr Raymond Edwin Cox. Mr Frost has now been appointed Minister at Asuncion (Paraguay), and Mr Cox has been assigned to the Wellington post, and will arrive in the latter part of April. Mr Cox was born in Massachusetts, and graduated from Yale in 1915. A large part of his time has been spent in Latin America. He was attached to the American Embassy in London from 192 G to 1934, and has recently been in Oslo, Norway. Mr Lowell G. Pinkerton, recently Consul-General here, has been appointed to the Consulate-General in Jerusalem. This is one of tho most important posts in the foreign service, because of its situation in the Middle East, and also -because United .States interests in tho development of the Holy Land and the considerable administrative duties these interests create.
