MEAT CONFERENCE OPENS [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March. 14. The conference or all those organisatiems interested in the production and export of meat, called by the Government to consider the position created Iby the export restrictions caused by ,the war, opened in Parliament Buildings to-day. The conference was addressed by the Hon. W. Nash, who gave a confidential outline of the present position. A general discussion followed, but no decisions'were reached before the luncheon adjournment. The Minister of Marketing, the Hon. J. G. Barclay, stated after the adjournment that the conference was proceeding very satisfactorily, and a statement would probably be made later in the day.. ' -
