Flying-officer G. E. Weston, who has been awarded the D.F.C. for the great gallantry and . skill he displayed in a bombing raid on the docks at Brest, is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Georg® Weston, of Lawrence. Flying-officer Weston, who was bom in England, is now 21 years of age. He was educated at the Oamaru North School,. Waitaki High School, and the_ Lawrence District High School. On leaving school he spent two years in the head office of the Publio Works Department in Wellington. Ha loft New.
