CONCERT AT TALBOYS HOME
Last night the South Dunedin branch of the Labour Party, organised by Mr Ruth, gave a concert at Talboys Home. The programme was as follows:—Dance band, items, Messrs T. Maw, R. Smith, M. Beissel, E. Pellett; songs—Misses Steedman, Hurley, Leishman, Bachop, Mrs Magon, Mr Ling, Mr White; piano-accordion solos, Mr E. Pellett; magician, Mr R. Wilson; violin solo, Mrs Lee; Irish jig, Miss M. Paterson; sean triubhais, Misses I. Gray and I. Dysart; Highland reel, Misses J. Leishman, S. Smith, D. Read, J. Palenski; Highland fling, Misses J. Leishman, D. Read; clog dance, Miss S. Smith; sword dance, Misses I. Gray, S. Smith, I. Dysart. The accompanists were Mrs M’Kay and Piper Christiansen.
