FORMER PREMIER
RT. HON. G. W. FORBES TO RETIRE [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 12. The intention of the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, a former Prime Minister, to retire from politics after the present session has.been conveyed to the National Party. He expressed his wish to retire if a suitable man can be found to take his place. His wish has been conveyed in writing to the Hurumii Electorate Committee, which lias deferred consideration of his "retirement.
