Tlic romhinalion of a perfect day and a lovely garden last Saturday brought nearly dOO people to tlio garden party arranged Y.W.C.A- at the rest. >
dencc of Mr and Mrs Herbert Price in Gremlon street, Maori Hill. The wellstocked stalls were arranged on the verandah and under the trees, and did brisk business, the stalls being:Flowers. Airs Price and members of the Y.W.C.A. Auxiliary; cakes—. Mrs K. Skinner, Mrs U. Ellis, and members of the Hostel, Health, ancj B.ccreation
Committee; delicatessen and produce, Mrs H. D. Skinner and Mrs Bathbone and members of tho Activities and World Fellowship Committees; tea, Mrs Fairbnirn and members of the House mil Cafeteria Committee; drinks and ice cream. Miss S*>:ar* and club girls. and tho gate by Airs Butting and Aliss Earnie,. After the tea those present
took the opportunity of wandering through the garden and into the beautiful bush, whore couvenicntly-placod seats gave a resting place to admire the fern trees and to listen to the tuis and bcllbirds. The funds of the Y.W.G.A. will bonelit by the sum of £SO which was realised by the function.
