RED CROSS NEWS
The Red Cross draws attention to the altered addresses of the Red Cross secretary and the lady superintendent of V.A.s, who are now carrying out their duties in the Queen’s Building, on the second floor. Telephone numbers are: Miss Nees 13-755, Mrs Hunt 14-GSB. The society has not yet received instructions from headquarters, Wellington, as to quota for hospital ship equipment. It thanks the members who have •expressed their intention of making donations, and will notify through this column when the list comes to hand. V.A. beginners’ classes in home nursing will commence next week. Now members wishing to enrol notify Miss tNees. Miss B. M'Lean and Miss E. Wilkin were delegates to the South Island V.A. meeting last week. There was a large attendance at Christchurch from all centres in the South Island, and a great deal of business was transacted.
