USE OF HOSES PROHIBITED. OWING to the continued dry weather and the excessive use of hoses for garden watering and other purposes, the stored water is rapidly diminishing, and, the Council is reluctantly compelled to enforce the provisions of the City By-law* relative to the use of hoses. The use of hoses is therefore STRICTLY PROHIBITED, and the Council’s inspectors have been instructed to PROSECUTE in every case of a breach of the By-law. R. A.
