SECOND BALLOT COMPLETED QUICK WORK BY AUTHORITIES [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 14. The National Service Department has again, by careful planning and good organisation, conducted the ballot for men for military service in record time. The second ballot for men for service overseas was commenced yesterday morning, 19,000 men being required. The drawing proceeded with such despatch that over 15,000 names liad been drawn by last evening, and the remainder of the drawing was completed without difficulty this morning

The names of the men are now to be sorted , alphabetically according to military districts, and they will be gazetted on March 4.
