SALVATION ARMY APPEAL.
TO THE EDITOR, Sir,—Once again the Christmas season is upon us, the time when we endeavour to bring a little happiness and cheer to those who suffer. I would thank these citizens of Dunedin and district who have helped during the past year; their assistance has been appreciated, end many have been cheered as a result. May I appeal for the Christmas cheer fund, to help the aged, the sick, and many unfortunates in our midst? Donations or gifts in kind will be gratefully received, —I am, elc., M. Dickinson (Adjutant), 37 Dcwling street. Phone 13-207.
