BEACH REPORT

EXTREME CARE NEEDED AT ST. KILDA

Extreme care must be exercised by bathers on St. Kilda Beach, which at the present time is in a dangerous state. There are a number of holes, and at high tide there is a tricky undertow. St. Clair Beach is in good order, but here, too, there is a fairly steep channel going down rather sharply. The water is mild and the seas are moderate. Tomahawk Beach is in good order, the sea is moderate, and the water warm, but bathers should keep between the flags.
