BERGEN AVIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
SBg»r Bergen, famed American vemtriloqraist, is setting up a national Edgar Bergen Aviation Foundation to train advanced civilian pilots in the interest of national air defence. Six “ blind flying ” students already are enrolled under a Bergen scholarship in an advanced Civil Aeronautics Authority School at Glendale, California, and six mors mil be trained every six weeks at an average cost of 300 dollars per student the 14 hogs man ” of Charlie M'Cartay disclosed recently.
